The Church of the Holy Prophet Elijah (Crkva Sv. Ilije) is located in the village of Gornji Stoliv, about 12 km north of Tivat. Presumably, the church was built in 1556, consecrated in honor of the holy prophet Elijah, who was considered the protector and patron of the inhabitants of the village. The bell tower of the church was erected later — in 1883.
The church sits on top of an elevated spot with a wonderful view of the hills and the bay.
